Century Poem

The rain keeps on coming down and how we have survived flooding here in Chobham I never know.

The last couple of weeks I have spent Tuesday evenings in Stow on the Wold. This week it was to Take Gerry Price from the Inn@WestEnd to a champagne reception on the gallops at Adlestrop. Gerry had bid £250 at an auction for the Surrey air Ambulance. Anyone who has not been to Stow it is a lovely part of the world and particularly the near by village of Adlestrop, which was made infamous by the Edward Thomas poem. The Poem will be 100 years old this year.
